Our villa is easy to find and just moments from the subway, buses, taxi stands and well-known landmarks.
We are right up the street from the public parking entrance to Gourmet 494 and the Nine-One Apartments, off the southbound side of Hannam-daero, the main road which leads to/from the Hannam Bridge.
The picture above is a [slightly outdated] Google Map of the area which we have annotated with recognizable landmarks in English. Hannam Tower has been torn down and the VW car dealer is now a Porsche dealer.

Quick tips on road and feature names: -ro means road, -daero means a bigger road, guri is an intersection, -gyo is a bridge, -daegyo is a bigger bridge, -san is a mountain, -gang is a river, -gil means a secondary street while ga-gil denotes the first divergence of that secondary street, na-gil would be the second, followed by da-, ra- and ma-gil, etc. Provinces are denoted by -do, cities are -si, districts within cities are -gu and neighborhoods within the cities are -dong. There’s always more but that should suffice for now.
By Train (Seoul Metro)
Take the Metro #6 (brown line) to Hangangjin Station, and use exit #3 leaving the station or use the elevator or escalator.
Walk south on Itaewon-ro and turn left at the Porsche (previously VW) automobile dealership (54-gil) onto Itaewon-ro 54-gil.
Continue down the road a short distance and turn left onto Hannam-daero 27 ga-gil. Turn right at the next corner (remaining on Hannam-daero 27 ga-gil).
Rebekah Court is the white granite building on the right hand side before the next turn, house number 17 (729-33). Enter by walking up the ramp, across the parking deck to the lobby entrance.
Total walking distance from the subway exit is only about 375 meters.

By Bus
There are over a dozen buses convenient to Rebekah Court. Korea no longer maintains an interactive web site for bus routes. Please use the Kakao Map or Naver Map websites or phone apps to determine which bus or buses best suit your needs. These apps work great for buses, subways, walking and even hiking.
Bus stops for neighborhood, city, express, tourist and airport buses are located on both sides of Itaewon-ro and Hannam-daero, all within a few minutes walking time.
By Foot
From Itaewon:
Walk east on Itaewon-ro towards Hangangin Station. This road curves northward.
Turn right on Itaewon-ro 54-gil. There is a Porsche (previously VW) dealership on the south east (right side) corner. Across the street is the large building with Commes des Garcon and the road that leads to Samsung Museum.
(If you reach Hangangjin Station you have gone too far).
Continue down the road a short distance and turn left onto Hannam-daero 27 ga-gil. Turn right at the next corner (remaining on Hannam-daero 27 ga-gil).
Rebekah Court is the white granite building on the right hand side before the next turn, house number 17 (729-33). Enter by walking up the ramp, across the parking deck to the lobby entrance.
From Hannam-daero north:
Stay on the west side of Hannam-daero (same side as Blue Square Music Hall).
Turn right onto Hannam-daero 27 gil – the first road after the intersection.
(before Nine-One and Gourmet 494). Continue down the small hill past Ruga Seat. Bear left at the fork in the road.
Continue up the road past the CU convenience store to our building, which is the white granite building facing you when you reach the next turn in the roadway.
The house number is 17 (729-33). Enter by walking up the ramp to our open parking deck, then across the deck to the lobby entrance.
From Hannam-daero south:
Stay on the west side (use the footbridge if you’re on the east side of Hannam-daero or cross at Hannam intersection 5 guri). Walk north towards Namsan (mountain).
Turn left onto Hannam-daero 27 gil – the first road after Nine-One and Gourmet 494. Continue down the small hill past Ruga Seat. Bear left at the fork in the road.
Continue up the road to our building, which is the white granite building facing you when you reach the next turn in the roadway.
The house number is 17 (729-33). Enter by walking up the ramp to our open parking deck, then across the deck to the lobby entrance.
By Taxicab
If you are not fluent in Korean you may print the address below and show it to the driver, or display it from a smartphone. It is in the “old” Korean address format and reads “Yongsan-gu Hannam-dong 729-33”. The nearby Nine-One Apartments are fairly well-known so you may have good luck using that as a landmark for the driver. Also refer to the car travel directions above.

By Car
It is best to use a GPS receiver or smartphone navigation app if one is available. Please be advised that when driving you may only approach using Hannam-daero, as Hannam-daero 27 gil is a one-way road. If you try to approach our building by car from Itaewon-ro you may be ticketed.
From Itaewon:
Drive east/northeast on Itaewon-ro towards its intersection with Hannam-daero. Bear right on Itaewon-ro, pass Hangangin Station and Blue Square (the performing arts center at the southwest corner of the intersection). You will see a sign for Hannam bridge. Turn right onto Hannam-daero.
Continue south on Hannam-daero towards the bridge. Stay in the right lane, slow down after the foot bridge and make a sharp right onto Hannam-daero 27 gil, the first street after the intersection. This is before Nine-One and Gourmet 494 and before Hannam 5 guri (the major 5-way intersection before the Hannam bridge).
Drive down the small hill past Ruga Seat and bear left at the fork in the road.
Continue up the road to our building which is at the start of the next turn.
Make a right and then drive up the ramp on your left.
From Yaksu/Sindang:
Drive southwest toward Namsan Park & Seoul Tower, follow the signs toward Hannam Bridge to reach Hannam-daero.
Continue south on Hannam-daero towards the bridge. Stay in the right lane and slow down after the foot bridge. Make a sharp right onto Hannam-daero 27 gil, the first street after the intersection. This is before Nine-One and Gourmet 494, and before Hannam 5 guri (the next major intersection before the Hannam bridge).
Drive down the small hill past Ruga Seat and bear left at the fork in the road.
Continue up the road to our building which is at the start of the next turn.
Make a right and then drive up the ramp on your left.
From Gangnam:
Cross the Han River (Hangang) via Hannam bridge which turns into Hannam-daero. Stay in one of the left-most two lanes of the bridge to bypass Hannam 5 guri (Hannam 5-way intersection).
After the overpass, continue north on Hannam-daero, moving over to the middle lanes to avoid the entrance ramp to Namsam 1 tunnel.
Once past the entrance ramp of Namsan 1 tunnel, continue on Hannam-daero, move to the left-most lane to make a U-turn at the light before the intersection with Itaewon-ro.
After the U-turn move over to the right-most lane of Hannam-daero south.
Continue south on Hannam-daero back towards the bridge. Slow down after the foot bridge and make a sharp right onto Hannam-daero 27 gil, the first street after the intersection. This is before Nine-One and Gourmet 494 and before Hannam 5 guri (the next major intersection before the Hannam bridge).
Drive down the small hill past Ruga Seat and bear left at the fork in the road.
Continue up the road to our building which is at the start of the next turn.
Make a right turn and then drive up the ramp immediately on your left.
From the Seoul Central Business District – choose one:
- Namsan 3 tunnel – gets you to Itaewon, then follow directions from Itaewon above.
- Over Namsan (from Namdaemun) – take it towards Yaksu and follow directions above.
- Namsan 1 tunnel – stay in the right most lane and get off first exit onto Itaewon-ro west. Make the first U-turn which will turn you around on Itaewon-ro east just before Hangangjin, just before the intersection with Hannam-daero. Then follow the directions above from Itaewon.
- Namsan 1 tunnel OOPS – If you miss the first exit for Itaewon-ro, the overpass traffic spills into Hannam-daero south, just short of 27 gil. NEVER attempt to make the immediate right turn before the Nine-One Apartments as it requires crossing many lanes of traffic very quickly. Instead just stay left on Hannam-daero, make a U-turn under the next overpass, drive north 900 meters on Hannam-daero, make another U-turn at the signal just before the Itaewon-ro / Hannam-daero intersection, then make the right onto 27-gil.
- From the Dongdaemun area – take the main road towards Namsan which will get you to the rotary before Yaksu, then follow directions from Yaksu above.
